Initial D

A coming-of-age love story, it's the prototype of "Initial D", featuring, among other similiarities, a scene where the main character's beloved car AE86 Sprinter Trueno and his love rival Z32 Fairlady Z battle on public roads. The final chapter in the volume has "Summer / Encounter Arc (completed)" written on it, despite no other volumes ever being published. The heroine of this work has a small cameo in the Initial D 3rd Stage anime
