Hetalia - When Your Voice is Heard at Night When the Star Falls (Doujinshi)

In a world where nations are personified as humans, Italy has joined Germany and Japan as a member of the Axis Powers. However, he proves to be cowardly, carefree, and lazy--very different from his strong ancient ancestor Rome. Meanwhile, the Allies must deal with their own personal quirks.

*Hetalia* explores the alliances, rivalries, and relationships between nations. Countries are depicted as a mix of truth and stereotype--America loves heroes and fast food, Germany is stern and strict, and France is a romantic. Though its main story line follows WWII, it includes character interactions from throughout history. This is a comedic look at their past and progress.

Think of it like WWII, except every country is a pretty boy instead. A hilariously stereotypical pretty boy. America loves burgers, Russia is into the vodka, and China has pandas and a wok. It is centered mostly around Italy, who has both a North and South character. The Hetaria portion of the name is probably mocking Italy, as Hetare means "Useless."
