Now that the party has made landfall in Heian, Shogo turns his attention to his most pressing issue: getting into the city proper! As he and his friends mull over their options, Rei finds herself among old acquaintances, and some are happier to see her than others…

In order to help a traveling merchant couple suffering from the effects of debilitating Ochu poison, Shogo ventures out to grab the ingredients he’ll need to concoct an antidote. There’s only one problem—he’ll have to get up close and personal with an Ochu to get what he needs…

Rei is a runaway ninja—a so-called traitor to her kind who does not deserve to live…at least according to several of her village’s current residents. Now that she’s returned, her former allies aren’t so willing to let her leave without paying the ultimate price.
