The protagonist, who died in a natural disaster, is reincarnated as an Etoile, an elf living in a magical world. He hear that he is the caretaker of the Tower of Trials. He has been given the task of making the "magic soup" that is only given to those who have cleared the tower's challenge. One day, while on his way to find ingredients for soup, Etoile rescued a knight named Sain who had fallen into a swamp and was unable to move. It seems he has come to challenge the "Tower of Trials," or perhaps there are circumstances that make it difficult for him to return to his country...?
