Umeyama Momoko is a slightly unusual female university student. While working part-time at a home improvement store in charge of gardening, she developed a love for bonsai! She is so attached to her bonsai that she has named it "Matsumaruko." The one who praised her for this strange name (?) is the usually strict bamboo forest manager... He even teaches her carefully how to prune it, so perhaps he is also a bonsai enthusiast? "I hate bonsai," the manager blurts out as they begin to open up to each other. But of course he can't hate it... there must be some secret! -- A bonsai love comedy between a boss with a secret and a college girl.
