Shimanto Kaikitan

Shimanto City, western Kochi Prefecture. This is the place where the Onmyodo is alive, and many mysterious stories are quietly handed down , including the legend of the monkey fox . Reishi Yomiyama, an associate professor who teaches folklore at the University of the Far East , went to fieldwork with his student, Kaoru Ikeda, to find out the truth of the many traditions of Shimanto .
