A normal girl was living a normal life—until she wasn’t. One day, she could see…everything. What’s a girl to do when hideous monsters appear no matter which way she turns? And on top of that, nobody else can see them! Obviously, there’s only one thing that makes sense—ignore them. Kinda hard to put theory into practice, though, when the ghosts know she’s watching…

Salt, useless. Prayer beads, no dice. Disinfectant-mildly effective. Miko’s fruitless attempts at warding off horrific spirits leave her with one option...keep pretending these grotesque specters don’t exist. But Miko hasn’t given up yet! One day, she’ll be free. Until then, she just has to survive changing-room phantoms and ghost-infested tunnels and…a girl named Yuria?

To see…or not to see? Until Miko met Yuria, the pretend-not-to-see ghosts plan seemed like the best course of action. But the new substitute teacher is that creepy guy from the park-the one haunted by a bunch of ghost cats! It can’t be a coincidence that Hana’s life aura starts draining whenever he’s in the room. Can Miko really leave her best friend to fend for herself against enemies she can’t see…?

Thrice. Three times. Those creepy shrine maidens saved Miko from three encounters with murderous ghosts... but what happens now? Well, Miko’s about to find out! In an effort to thank and appease the strange spirits who protected her, Miko is determined to bring an offering back to the shrine where she first met them. The only problem? The area looks a bit different from the last time she visited…

There’s a new kid on the block! Or more of, in Miko’s class. In the seat behind Miko. Supposedly, she’s this dropdead gorgeous model, but...Miko can’t see her face past the tentacles. Like, at all. But she has an actual body, unlike the ghosts, so... just whatwhat is she?!

So one of the top ten places NOT to visit when you can see the grisly ghosts of the dearly departed? The hospital. Unfortunately for Miko, that’s exactly where she has ended up. With no chance to escape from all the things that go bump in the night, can Miko make it to the break of dawn?

What to do about the tentacles… Sure, their protection from the grotesque ghosts around Miko is a pretty sweet deal, but…what if Michiru turns on Miko someday? After all, they’re clearly linked to her classmate’s emotions since they go crazy every time her sister is mentioned. Add to that a few misunderstandings, sprinkle in Michiru’s overzealousness when it comes to all things Miko, and bingo! Recipe for disaster, coming right up…

Miko still can’t get the hang of it. After all, every time she looks Michiru’s way, she can’t quite see around the tentacles. But Michiru seems...nice? And the tentacle things are protecting Miko from some of the ghastly ghouls hanging around! Still, the tentacles seem more and more hostile toward Hana as time marches on, which only deepens Miko’s alarm...

Girls just wanna have fuuun! Which is why Miko and friends are heading to a festival over winter break! Only, having an axe-swinging ghost on the loose in an enclosed train car really puts a damper on the festivities… Meanwhile, Rom Shindou seeks assistance from a dapper elderly gentleman to solve the case of the old guy in the picture. However, his friendly face hides a sinister side—and he seems rather interested in Miko Yotsuya…!

New year, new Miko! At least, she wishes that was the sitch…But nope, looks like the creepycrawly ghosties are here to stay! Still, she’s positive she can leave the case of the old guy in the picture to Seto. After all, he seems reliable enough—if a bit scary. Surely nothing can go wrong with someone like him on her side…right?
