The main events of Love Letter 1921 take place pre-movie, while its conclusion is set post-movie. *Munchen no Noraneko* fits somewhere in between -- just before the movie, according to Okame Kazumi herself. In this volume, Ed and Alfons are roommates, and Alfons wants to know why Ed can't let go of the past and move forward (with him).
