Set in the Universal Century 0090, between Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and before Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, the plot centers around Darry Neil Guns, a member of the Monotone Mouse Corporation who was repairing Texas Colony at Side 5 -a Space Colony that was damaged from the One Year War, When they are attacked by the New Summer Project terrorist organization's Colorde forces. Both the anti-Earth Federation militant group Colorde and the New Summer Project were actually being used as a front for the resurgence of the Second Neo Zeon movement under the leadership of Char Aznable. In an attempt to resist Colorde, the Monotone Mouse Corporation is forced to team up with the Earth Federation Force's Arahas force and fight. Darry Neil Guns, a fan of the Gundam, modified his worker mobile suit to resemble the original RX-78 Mobile Suit Gundam, and through mistaken identity it is acknowledged as the actual Gundam.
Taking place in the interlude between Gundam ZZ and Char’s Counterattack, Kazuhisa Kondoh’s dynamic manga of continuing Zeon rebellion against the Federation showcases the continuing struggle of former Zeon OYW cadet Frederick Brown. Currently a Lieutenant in the Zeon Forces, he leads several ragtag supporters on a seemingly impossible counterattack against the Earth Federation Forces.
Ensign Reccoa Londe has provided the AEUG with information regarding possible mobile suit development at the civilian colonies of Green Noa. Lieutenant Quattro (Char Aznable) with his wingmen Lieutenant JGs Apolly (Andy) and Roberto (Ricardo) head to the colony to investigate. On Green Noa 1, Kamille Bidan is rushing to the spaceport where the Temptation, a ship a former One Year War ace is on, is docking. He’s hoping to get an autograph from the famed Captain Bright Noa. As Bright explains that he’s on duty, Jerid and company interrupt the two. Jerid smacktalks Bright for receiving a two rank demotion upon refusing to join the Titans and grabs Kamille’s photo saying he should sign it as an elite member of the Federation. The two get into a scuffle and Kamille is hauled off for questioning. Matosh questions Kamille about being an AEUG insider but just then he’s freed after his story checks out. Just as the handcuffs come off, the Gundam MK-II crashes into the building…

Set 3 years after the events of Char's Counterattack, a young man is caught in a deadly conflict between the Earth Federation and Terrorist Organization "The Sleeved" as they battle for an object that is said to have changed the course of Human history. The title page of the first chapter announces "A new story different from the anime and novelization is born!"

The novel series is set in the year UC0105 and centers around Hathaway Noa, who appeared in the 1988 film Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack as the son of the influential Federation ship captain Bright Noa.
In Universal Century 0105, the secret organization Mafty declares a campaign of “purification” against the corrupt Earth Federation government. As Mafty carries out the successive assassinations of high-ranking officials, it is revealed that its leader, Mafty Navue Erin, is in fact Hathaway Noa—the son of Bright Noa, and the man who once killed his beloved Quess with his own hands during Char’s Rebellion. “Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash,” written as a sequel to Yoshiyuki Tomino’s Beltorchika’s Children, is adapted into manga form by Sabishi Uroaki, following the manga adaptation of Beltorchika.
U. C. 0094: Kikka set out to write Amuro Ray’s —now hailed as a war hero by the federation government— biography with the goal of knowing who he truly was, by meeting the people who knew him.
In UC 0093,Char Aznable returns as leader of Neo Zeon, and is determined to drop the asteroid base Axis on Earth. Opposing him is the task-force Londo Bell, led by Amuro Ray and his ν Gundam. The final battle will take place over the Earth Sphere.
