After being kidnapped by goblins at the age of three, young Al is rescued thanks to his grandfather’s bright and powerful magic, something Al had never witnessed before. From then on, Al became fascinated with magic and learned everything he could about it. But the path to mastering magic is far from easy. Even after 12 years of arduous training and preparation, Al’s journey is only just getting started! Now that he’s an official adventurer, Al is ready to travel across the land in hopes of finding the rare, ancient document known as the “Book of Spells.”  As Al begins his adventure, he quickly finds that his use of magic isn’t quite standard. Will his unique techniques and passion for spells lead him down the path of a hero, or will his quest end before it can truly begin?

It’s time to aim for the skies—namely, the ancient ruins in Tempest’s floating research tower! His search for the Fly spell leads Al to the tomb of the man who built said research tower, where he discovers giant golems that can speak with the help of special artifacts. Unfortunately, his exploration of Tempest’s tomb is interrupted when he discovers a company of knights from the neighboring kingdom attempting to infiltrate the tomb. What political shenanigans are foot? And can Al break free of them in time to take flight?
