The Trials of Chiyodaku
Akuto lives a normal life, often dreaming of traveling to fantasy worlds and having adventures. To his surprise, his dream comes true, but this other world isn’t quite what he expected. The magical land of Chiyodaku doesn’t need a champion—it needs someone to oversee court trials. Fortunately, his older sister, Tsukasa, happens to be Japan’s greatest judge. And although she knows nothing about sorcery and monsters, that’s Akuto’s area of expertise as a game-obsessed high schooler. Together, they’re the perfect team to bring justice to the kingdom—at least they’d better be, because one of their fifirst cases is a murder trial…and the Hero is the accused!

One fateful day in the Chiyodaku Kingdom, where Tsukasa and Akuto run the Supreme Court as judge and court assistant, a building summoned by Princess Ecstasia collapses—and there are casualties. The high priest demands the princess take responsibility, criticizing Japanese culture and laws and denouncing Akuto and Tsukasa. Shiro, in her devotion to the princess, protests the trial that threatens to impeach her, and Tsukasa orders Shiro to leave the courtroom. While everyone else is falling apart at the seams, Akuto becomes suspicious about something the high priest said and starts his own investigation. That’s when he discovers the true nature of the organization that fanatically worships this world’s God— the same God Tsukasa aims to judge!
