A story focused on Saya and Hagi's past in Russia in the first years of the 20th century (1910's).

A Haji solo story, prior to the events of the TV series. In Hong Kong, a police detective named Nishitatsu Yoshi investigated a string of murders in which the victims died due to loss of blood. During the investigation, he encountered a mysterious man who may have a connection to these incidents.

It is the official novel adaptation of the anime series. It expands on the events of the anime and gives greater background information on the battle against chiropterans.

Ukishima Shrine is located in an old, picturesque lakeside town. Shrine maiden Kisaragi Saya lives there along with her father, Tadayoshi. By day, she lives the life of a normal high school student at Sanbara Academy. By night, she hunts the Old Ones.
