Each year, the Ushiromiya family gathers at the secluded mansion of its patriarch, the elderly Kinzo. It has been six years since Battler joined his cousins at the annual event, but their happy reunion is overshadowed by worsening weather and an eerie premonition from his youngest cousin. When their parents’ conversation turns to the division of the inheritance upon Kinzo’s imminent death, Battler and his cousins reminisce about the stories their parents teased them with as children-tales of the witch, Beatrice, who haunts the island’s forest. But when people start dying unnatural deaths, Battler can’t help but wonder…

A 4-koma spin-off comic of Umineko no Naku Koro ni following the witches, where Lambdadelta decides to move in with Beatrice and Battler.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Shi: Forgery of the Purple Logic is a manga-exclusive series by Kurumi Suzuhiro. The story expands on the use of the purple declaration introduced by Bernkastel in Twilight of the Golden Witch. The red truth still applies in this game even though there are lesser than usual games. Knox's rules are stated in red to show that it is valid in this game. The story takes place outside the main story.

October 4 and 5, 1986. The Ushiromiya family has gathered on the private island of Rokkenjima for their annual family conference. Chief on the agenda concerns the struggle for the inheritance assets of the ailing family head, Kinzo. But as the family is trapped on the island by a typhoon, they receive a letter claiming to be from the rumored witch of the island, Beatrice, and mysterious events begin to occur.

It is a series of “Higurashi When They Cry” and “Umineko When They Cry” crossover anthology manga published by Ohzora Publishing.
