Mobile Suit Gundam 00 2nd Season
It is AD 2312 - four years after the battle between Celestial Being and the UN military. Having survived the fight for the moment, they were looking at the future of a unified world... however behind the scenes the independent Earth Federation forces, A-Laws (Arrows) were keeping the peace via brutal repression. With this false peace continuing the distortions of before, it is clear their job is not yet complete. The world requires a force for change - Double 0 Gundam!
2307 AD. The nations of the world are split into three major power blocs, each striving to further their own prestige and prosperity. Despite the precariousness of the situation, these groups of nations insist on playing a grand zero-sum game. To stand up against the state of the world, a private organization calling themselves Celestial Being declare that they will end all war on Earth...they will be armed with the Mobile weapon Gundam. (Source: Bandai Entertainment) Minor changes are present compared to the anime, such as the use of more visually comedic facial expressions.
This series is drawn by Auto Taguchi and published by Kodansha. In addition to this, according to Baka-Updates it is serialised in Magazine Z. It shares its name with another Gundam 00 manga drawn by Kouzoh Ohmari and published by Kadokawa. The two series essentially follow the plot of the anime, however they vary both in artistic style and in the sequence of events that take place. This manga based on the second season of Gundam 00 is illustrated by Auto Taguchi and follows on from his manga based on the first season.
The World may be United but the time has come for Celestial Being to begin their interventions again. For all of those who stand up in answer to the call, irreplaceable "Bonds" exist. Bonds contains five short stories set throughout the second season, including Soma's transformation into Marie, Sumeragi's return to Celestial Being, and Marina creating her song for Kataron.
