In 1971, the Red Army and the League of Revolutionaries, both aiming for revolution in Japan, merged to form the "Red League." With guns in hand, they set up a hideout in the mountains, where their members gathered. However, what unfolded there was not revolutionary action, but an exchange of self-criticism and mutual discussion of each member's past words and actions, which they called "summaries." The demands for these "summaries" gradually escalated into violence, as the comrades exhausted themselves in the process of "summarizing thoughts to becoming great revolutionary fighters." What exactly was said in these "summaries"? What will become of the radicalized and isolated revolutionary movement? Naoki Yamamoto coolly depicts the story of the 60 days leading up to the "Asama Sanso" incident.
