Unable to move on, his ghost lingers in the desert until Ed, a State Alchemist under Hughes' command, stumbles across Roy on his search for the Philosopher's Stone. Of the many things Roy tells him, Ed is most surprised by his claim that they should have been lovers.
Pairing: Roy x Ed Ed and Al come back from a trip and find out Roy's been in an accident at sea. Among those rescued is a mysterious young girl who can't talk, can't write, and whose feet seem to hurt her with every step... *and* she's temporarily staying with Roy. Ed can't help but notice the similarities to the age-old tale of *The Little Mermaid*, but that just can't be possible... right?
