Valvatorez is a vampire who's sworn off drinking blood due to a promise he'd made in the past. The once great Tyrant is now a Prinny instructor in charge of reforming Prinnies into obeying their orders as instructed, who takes great pride in his work. Fuka Kazamatsuri is a girl from Earth who's died and is sent to hell as a Prinny in order to atone for her sins. However, instead of being completely turned into a Prinny, she kept her original appearance and was only given a Prinny hat and jacket. She believes everything happening around her is all just a part of a dream she's having. This is what started the adventures and encounters that lead Valvatorez into trying to show Fuka the reality before her and revealing the importance of the promise he made many years ago.

The story follows Kanou, a rookie editor assigned to charismatic romance novelist Kirikawa Honami. Excited to meet the author behind the delicate and beautiful prose he admires, Kanou is utterly shocked to discover that Kirikawa is, in reality, a hedonistic man who indulges in wild affairs with both men and women. Despite his initial disappointment, Kanou learns that Kirikawa is struggling with writer's block. Determined to help, he shifts his focus. *"As a fan, it’s my duty to do something!"* Kanou takes it upon himself to improve Kirikawa’s messy lifestyle, offering his support. However, he finds himself constantly flustered by Kirikawa’s whimsical and self-indulgent behavior. Even more confusing are the moments when Kirikawa shows vulnerability, which sends Kanou’s heart racing. Things escalate when Kirikawa declares, "I can’t think straight unless I have sex," prompting Kanou to blurt out, "Then I’ll be your partner!"
