This is a spin-off of Shou-chan no Bouken, and adds a third member, Donkichi, to the gang. Along with Donkichi, Shou-chan and squirrel go on fantastical adventures.

This is a fantastical story of Sho-chan, who is a journalist, and goes on adventures with his companion squirrel. This was the first Japanese manga to incorporate speech bubbles into dialogues.
