Leah, a tenacious girl who had the privilege of participating in the closed beta test of a game. Leah possesses a special hidden skill called "Subordinate," which grants her the power to turn non-player characters (NPCs) into loyal subordinates. It was an extraordinary skill that the experience points gained by these subordinates are directly transferred to Leah. With this ability, she gradually expands her party by adding new NPCs she encounters along her journey.

The protagonist Leah, a girl who participated in the closed beta test of "Boot Hour, Shoot Curse", a new VRMMORPG that has no concept of levels or professions. Instead, players must farm experience points to gain new skills and increase their status.
