This original work is inspired by the classic supernatural tale, Banqiao San Niangzi of the Taiping Guangji (Extensive Records of the Taiping Era) written in 10th century China. The evolution of civilizations and history is driven by fear. Spanning over two thousand years, our story follows a sorceress named Madame Dolly and her companion, Yeli Feitian, as they are relentlessly pursued by the Three Divine Envoys and Puyin the warrior monk, while getting entangled in a series of unimaginable societal upheavals. As times change, so do the things that she fears—just as they do for all humans. She comes to realize that fear is merely a blockage of emotion, a threshold one must cross before reaching happiness. Only by overcoming fear can emotions flow freely once more. After experiencing millenniums of love and hate, Madame Dolly's journey will ultimately culminate in the divine and demonic battles of the centuries to come. (Source: Taiwan Comic City)
