Romane is a sixth-grader who is given a magical padlock necklace by an injured woman at the end of an alley. Once she puts the necklace around her neck, she can talk to birds and, most importantly, see the “emotis”—creatures made of emotions that threaten the town of Saint-Louis-de-la-Montagne. It features magical powers, epic battles, great friendships, and even a little romance!
