My name is Jesuido Namazuko. I sing every night at The Pool Of Blood, a pub frequented by disgusting demons after work. One day I was about to fall victim to their weapons when, just as I thought my time, the time of my death, had come, I suddenly started singing a song that I liked. I touched the strings of their hearts and, for this reason, they spared my life. Thus I became the singer of the riverbed. (Source: Hollow Press)
Humans simultaneously combine tenderness and violence. If you peel back the face of a beautiful woman, you'll see it's clogged with viscera. Choosing to create a work that is only beautiful would feel artificial. Thus I paint both. You cannot sever the two. The expression that results is a natural chaos. In my work I project chaos, anarchy, anxiety, the grotesque, the absurd, and the irrational. By doing so I attain harmony. This is my art. "Flying Head" is a monster from legends of Southeast Asia like Thailand and Indonesia for instance. I have drawn comics and illustrations with this subjects many times. Through these four comics I tried to tell "Flying Head" stories in a SF key."
