The protagonist, who grew up in an impoverished single-parent household in Tokyo, never knew his father. His mother told him that his father had died in an accident shortly after he was born. However, at the funeral, the protagonist learns that his father had actually been alive until recently and had died. The place where this happened was Watakano Island. Hating his father for causing his tragic circumstances, the protagonist vows revenge and, after a certain event, time travels to 1981, the heyday of prostitution.
