Chronicles the story of Dragon Quest VI The story begins with three travelers sitting around a fire. The leader says the time is right and the trio walks out to a nearby cliff. A young girl plays a flute, summons a dragon, and flies to the castle of Maou Mudo. The three enter and do not encounter any trouble until they reach the throne room. Mudo surprises them and seemingly kills the girl and the martial artist. After Mudo defeats the leader, Botsu, he wakes up at home in the village of Lifecod.

High school girl Mizuumi Tachibana can't accept this and does the impossible in order to prove the existence of a "God". As four friends, Natsumi, Saki, Yuka and Rinko, gather around the rock like they used to in their childhood, they soon find the rock can indeed grant people's wishes. With only a short amount of time before Saki is due to transfer schools, the girls spend a summer filled with magic.
The manga centers on air-headed girl Arisu, who one day receives a confession of love from Honda. However, the world has been taken over by zombies, so it may not be the right time for romance. Arisu tries to live happily in a zombie-filled world, while Honda holds some secrets of his own. Together, the two try to survive in this new world.

The volume consists of three short stories. The first follows Sorakawa Aoi, a petite 16-year old girl who carries around a baseball bat and tries to live her life despite the fact that everyone around her, including her own family (rather, especially her own family) is a bit wacky. This may be an understatement. The other two short stories follow a similar "everyone else in the universe is a boke" script.
