This is a completely new story with no relation to previous Gundam series. Set in the 21st century with Japan as the main stage where a mysterious army has invaded with super weapons called Mobile Suits, the protagonist stand against them with a mobile suit called "Gundam". The year is 200X. A mysterious robot fell from the sky into Tokyo. The robot is called a "Mobile Suit". Meanwhile, another Mobile Suit named "Gundam" crash landed near Kurono.

Virtual Space "G" Dimension around the colony in its own territory "G catapult gear," Seoul's most popular game machine was summoned to fight on the card housed in a "Batoreivu" Hyuuga, Gekkou, will be seen three drops of not attacked by MS. Gekkou crisis-ridden brother Hyuuga Hyuga and even to repel by their fusion with the dragon the MS Gundam was guided by a mysterious voice trapped in the dimension G.

Haru Irei, who witnessed the first lighting of the 1/1 scale RX-78-2 Gundam in Odaiba, becomes inspired to build Gunpla. Gunpla which is a portmanteau of Gundam Plastic. Haru purchases a one of a kind gunpla, the GPB-X80 Beginning Gundam. After building the kit, Haru, now a Gunpla Builder, and the Beginning Gundam enter the virtual world of Gunpla Battle, where players can pilot their customized Gunpla in team matches or one-on-one fights. Haru must rely on the support of his friends if he is to become a Gunpla Battle Champion and attain the rank of Gunpla Meister.
