A black comedy about a father and son who move into a new town where everything is just plain weird as they struggle to find work and get about their daily lives.
Satsuki, a boy high school boy and his childhood friend are riding in an underground train until it suddenly stops. Upon closer inspection the denizens of the train discover a mysterious beast! Panic sets in as the passengers struggle to survive the beast and escape to the surface.
The protagonist is "Uncle Arafif," who broke his body and retired after working as a cogwheel for a black company for many years, went to an auto camp to spend a leisurely time after winning the lottery he bought at Yakeso. "However, I was suddenly blown into a different world and got a rejuvenated body and a lot of cheat skills!" Making full use of the items brought in from the present age, the ex-old man will remake his life as much as he wants.

Jiroubei (57), after 38 years of loyal service as a shinobi, loses his job after the death of his mistress. Taroubei (61) decides to retire after 41 years working as a constable in the city of Edo. These two men decided to give their lives to a loyal cause. Now free from their duty, a strange friendship begins between the two of them.

The shogun was sympathetic to Daigoro for saving the shogunate from crisis, but opinions within the shogunate were sharply divided on whether to spare his life or sentence him to death. The Shogun banished him to the underground labyrinth of Edo Castle called "Danjō".
