Manga artist Masumi Sudou had a cat. His name was Yuzu. She would chronicle her life with him over the course of multiple essay manga series, such as *Donguri-kun* and the concisely titled *Yuzu*. *Nagai Nagai Sanpo* (lit. *A Long, Long Walk*) is the last of those chapters, and tells the story of a woman, her beloved cat, and the last of their time together on this Earth.
In the spring of her senior year of high school, Ryukka Borg, the world's first AI cartoonist, transfers to Yuka Amaryu's class. Ryukka was created based on Yuka's personality when she was an eighth grader who participated in an AI development experiment. Yuka, who once aspired to be a manga artist herself but gave up on that dream, distances herself from the successful Ryukka. When she is asked to run for the student council, Ryuukka asks Yuka for a condition in return. Why did Ryukka transfer to this school? And what does she want from Yuka?
