Haruto, a university student, has one regret: his grandfather died before he could apologize. Since then, he has become averse to old objects like those his grandfather loved, and to deep connections with people. However, immediately after accidentally breaking an old Imari vase, he begins to see tsukumogami in the form of animals. Pressed by Imari, the tsukumogami of the broken vase, Haruto decides to grant the wishes of the tsukumogami and collect "divine hearts" in order to regain Imari's power. He wants to meet the original owner, to be useful to someone just once, to hear the true feelings of the deceased owner's daughter. As he struggles, wishes begin to weave connections around Haruto...
