Hayakawa Seitarou, fresh out of college, is approaching his first teaching job with great enthusiasm. He's working at an all girls high school, teaching a special class that only has 8 students. To his surprise, they're all older than him! His class consists of women who, for various reasons, dropped out of high school and are now trying to get their diplomas. With his inexperience at life and at teaching, it's might be difficult to get them to take him seriously. But how can he successfully guide these old "high schoolers" to finally graduate, if he lacks the confidence to establish his credibility as their teacher? He's going to have to find a way to do both, or his employment won't last past the year.
