“The moment I first saw her, I made the biggest mistake of my life…” Renato, the First Prince of the Kingdom of Sculva, was born with the ability to listen to the truth of a person’s heart. Then on one fateful day, he chances upon Lucrezia, the marquis daughter known throughout society as the “Phantom Princess.” He was charmed by her beauty and grace, utterly swept away by her cordial greeting… only to be rendered utterly shocked by the foul words she harbors within her darkened heart. The words of her soul were so vulgar and uncouth, none would ever believe it came from the lips of such a refined noblewoman. Thus begins the secret tale of two people—one who can hear what must never be spoken, and one who hides a heart darker beyond anyone could ever imagine. It’s a sweet-and-spicy romantic comedy about secrets, miscommunication and love that refuses to stay hidden!

Hanon Kurumo (age 30) had been writing romance novels for girls, at the recommendation of her editorial department, she takes the helm to write novels for adult women, but she is at a standstill because her projects are not getting through. She was spending her days worrying about both her professional and personal life, such as the fact that she was continuing to write in the romance genre when she was already cold to love and marriage, and the distance she felt from her friends who were getting married. Then she meets a new editor, Shiba, who is two years younger than her and changes her as a writer and as a woman.
