A fantasy adventure about bonds forged with people in a different world. The setting is a world, where everyone has eight skill slots. In these slots people can put skills like “Strengthen arm (1 star rarity)” and “Fire Magic (2 star rarity)” from skill orbs, abilities which prove extremely useful for survival. The total amount of stars your skills have can never exceed your slots. Our protagonist Reiji, worked as a slave that mines skill orbs, until 10 years old. Along with his precious older sister, Larc, they worked gruellingly in the mines until one day, where the chance for rebellion occurred at the mine and Reiji got his hands on a ten-star, a so called "overlimit" skill, also known as World Ruler. The story centers around Nyaruko, a formless Cthulhu deity of Chaos (Nyarlathotep) who can take on the shape of a seemingly ordinary silver-haired girl. Mahiro Yasaka is a normal high school boy who is being chased by a fearsome black alien one night, until Nyaruko saves him. She explains that the creatures from H. P. Lovecraft's works are actually races of aliens, and that she has been sent to Earth to protect him from being kidnapped by an alien trafficker. Eventually, Nyaruko and two other Lovecraft-creatures, Cthugha and Hastur, ends up being freeloaders at Mahiro's place.
