Detective Agutsu and a high school boy named Shino have recently taken notice of strange occurrences in Shibuya regarding disappearances of high school teenage girls. Shino believes that this may be related to a recent rumor regarding a demon girl named Karuta. The main question is though, is she an ally... or an enemy?
The first story is a retelling of the story of Aladdin, with a couple of the names changed – but with a Hope/Crosby movie thrown in with a touch of Cinderella. The second story is yet another Ham Egg story, this time involving an abducted girl taken back to the ice age and a time machine that transports him into the future, when the human race is leaving to colonize Venus.
This is a two-story collection featuring a story about a pot of gold, and another about an early attempt to open up Japan 40 years before the Perry Expedition.
All 194 pages of this manga was serialized in Manga Shounen Bessatsu as "Hi no Tori 2772: Ai no CosmoZone" on April 1, 1980. It was later re-published by Media Factory as a standalone volume in 2007, re-titled as simply "Hi no Tori 2772", which also includes an interview between Osamu Tezuka and Satomi Mikuriya.
Part 1 (2 chapters) Another two story manga. The first story is about a girl named Ruby who discovers a mask that gives her powers that was granted by an alien visiting earth. This was a tie-in manga for the then ongoing anime in 1966. As a little lion cub in the jungle, Leo must find a way to stop an aggressive red rhinoceros from hurting his jungle friends. A boxing match between Leo and a rogue lion, Bubu breaks out. Leo saves a brave hero as he gets revenge on Lubar, an elderly leopard. Finally, Laman, Laiya's long-lost brother tells a story about how a hydra-snake was able to devour their entire family. Note: Only the 4 chapters in Part 2 has been translated.
The first story is about a former slave from Java who can talk to animals, while the second is about a rabbit who runs an automobile company…
