17-year-old Fuuka “Puuka” Tabatake is a slow-rising model. On the way to a photoshoot in the dark woods, she and her manager hit a zombie with their car. In the middle of investigating, her manager is violently eaten and Puuka accidentally gets bitten by a self-proclaimed “good zombie”! Now an undead herself, the good zombie Sukekiyo escorts her to the undead colony where he lives. Forced to reconsider her future and abandon those she knew, these are the unusual days of Puuka adjusting to being a zombie.
