One day, a man living outside of Japan gets a sudden phone call from a young Japanese police officer, who informs him of a serial murder case involving hunting guns. The overseas man is a former hunter, so the police officer tells him the whole story in detail, asking for his cooperation. The ex-hunter, drawing his conclusions, exposes the criminal's tricks. At first, the police officer rejoices, but before long, he realizes that the truth is still far away.
