*Pro Wres Kyousoukyoku* was written by a French Bande dessinée comics artist, Nicolas de Crécy, and it was exclusively serialized in Ultra Jump magazine from August 2014 issue to March 2015 issue. The translation from French into Japanese was done by Hara Masato (原正人), a Bande dessinée comics resercher. The comic book was first published in France as *La République du catch* by Casterman on April 15, while in the Japan it was on April 17.
Shuugo Hayami is a doctor at a nursing hospital, which was once a psychiatric hospital. One evening, when he was on night duty, a man in a clown mask breaks into the hospital, and he is not alone. He is with Hitomi Kawasaki, a university student who has been shot by the masked man. The masked man tells Shuugo to treat Hitomi, and also takes the 64 people in the hospital hostage.
