This is the first out of three gaidens (side stories) that were released after Takahashi Hiroshi finished his famous delinquent manga Crows. It focuses on the pasts of the Ebizuka trio (Mako, Pon & Hiromi), Bandou Hideto and Bouya Harumichi in a total of 3 chapters. It takes place when all of them were still in middle school.

Stories set in QP's universe

Endou Kiku, a delinquent lone wolf, is pissed off with the world and everyone in it. Until he meets Senji and Sanji, who were just like him until they met each other. This one volume story follows Kiku as he finds out what it means to have friends and not be alone in the world, while also kicking ass and taking names in the meantime. This is the original Takahashi Hiroshi delinquent manga, predating his more famous works Crows, QP and Worst.

This Crows gaiden follows Katagiri Ken when he was still a student at Suzuran High.

The story takes place a year after the ending of Worst, when Sajima Yousuke and Miyamoto Sanmon are seniors at Suzuran High School.

The story follows the new third-year students who are aiming for the vacated top spot at Suzuran High School, and the newcomers who appear in their midst: the third-year transfer student Kazeo Kaburagi and the new first-year student Ryōhei Kagami.

Before Narumi Taiga, Bitou Tatsuya, King Joe and Tsukimoto Mitsumasa, there was Terakado Butta. This is the story of how, under his leadership, Housen became the powerhouse that would become Suzuran High School's greatest opponent. Butta was there the year the school was founded, and without him, we would have never had the Housen Hitman we know and fear today.

This is a story about Hayashida Megumi (known as Lindaman), from the manga Crows, set in his middle school years. Hayashida is an incredibly strong, ridiculously large and very taciturn 'yankee' type middle schooler. Yoshidome Keiichi, a much smaller, weaker, and very talkative classmate starts to hang out with him, and slowly they become friends. All the while, large groups of people keep coming to attack 'Lindaman', due to grudges they have against him or even simply because of his reputation as being very strong.

A story that reveals how a pre-6th Gen Head Tesshou Kawachi first encounters and then joins The Front of Armament, and also meets characters like Shougo Murata.

Before Guriko Hanaki reluctantly reigned supreme over Toarushi, he lived in Fukuoka. This is the story about his time kicking ass and taking names in middle school there.

The manga is a crossover with the OREN'S manga, which artist Yanse Kazu and Takahashi launched in September 2015 in Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Young Champion magazine.
