In the year U.C. 0079, as the One Year War draws to a close. Major Wolfgang leads the Principality of Zeon squadron "Hunter of Black Clothes" on atmospheric patrols. The squad is named after Wolfgang's black Zaku. The Federation fears them as "GM Hunters." When Wolfgang enters combat with a GM squadron fatefully close to the atmosphere.
In order to avoid the danger of destruction caused by a full-scale nuclear war, the world has introduced a new technology, Pain Free. It aims to stabilize the human mind by wirelessly connecting the brain and the server to eliminate pain. Vogu Ranba, a soldier in the Republic of the Illi Federation, learns that his college sweetheart, Gaada Meri, now a dissident terrorist with an anti-Pain Free agenda, has robbed a classified material. Vogu was assigned to take command of the pursuit team, but he was defeated and taken prisoner by Gaada and her sister's special skills and manifestations. There, he learns the true danger of Pain Free. Vogu, who had a transmitter implanted in his brain and was destined to die for betraying the government, entrusted his care to the Second Vogu, an artificial lifeform copied from his own brain. Thus, as the leader of the anti-Pain Free nation of Ethor, Second Vogu will fight to change the world.
This story takes place during December 0079 U.C. where two brothers are forced to traverse the North American territory as the rear guard of the retreating Principality of Zeon forces, using MSM-04 Acguy amphibious mobile suits, after the Principality fails to capture the Earth Federation's headquarters at Jaburo. However it doesn't take long before these two brothers are the only ones left alive and are faced with the prospect of traveling over two thousand miles, without supplies and backup.
