From MangaHelpers: In old Japan, lined up in the streets were all kinds of entertainment venues from restaurants to shows and galleries. Of the many shops, one of the least profitable was the Hakurantei. Mainly focusing on the supernatural theme, they used tricks and science to entertain the guests and let them experience creatures that only appear in stories. The owner of the store is Sakaki who is a supernatural nerd. With his employees, Kashiwa, Yomogi, Renge and Yatsude, some of who can use magic or are supernatural beings themselves, they try and find different attractions to bring in customers to their exhibit.
