"Saunoa!" is a story that begins when Kageyama Kokage, a high school girl who hates baths, meets Ryudia, an exchange student from Finland, the home of saunas. Ryudia is staying at the Hana no Yu public bathhouse, and Kokage can't refuse her invitations, so she starts going to the bathhouse almost every day, even though she hates baths. Her first experience in a sauna is so hot it feels like torture, and Kokage would rather play games if she had time to relax in the bathtub. However, she is considerate of Ryudia, who believes that "Kokage-san also loves public baths," so she continues to go to the bathhouse every day. She is joined by class president Shimizu Serika, who knows a lot about saunas, and Takano Maki, the daughter of a super public bathhouse owner, and the girls' daily lives in saunas are depicted. Although it was only a political marriage, Layla truly loved the crown prince; but now her only option was to marry someone else and see her little sister be happy with him. At the end of her rehabilitation treatment, Layla was able to walk around her house and it was at this point that she decided to enter a monastery on the outskirts of the Imperial Capital, which was famous for “denying access to anyone who wishes to enter”. One day, without telling her parents or the servants themselves about her whereabouts, Layla escapes from her home. But on her way, Layla is caught in the middle of the road by the heavy rain. And at that moment a young wizard appeared, whom she recognized as a famous person, and extended a hand to help her when he saw her deplorable state. A dreamy love story, which begins with the escape of the Duke’s daughter after a heartbreak.
A bloody tale of kimono and sword, spanning the present and the past... Members of the Shinsengumi, the warrior group protecting Kyoto, exchange their feats of arms to determine the strongest opponent they have ever faced. Sōji Okita, captain of the first division, is the first to speak! In his eyes, this title of most formidable enemy belongs to Kamo Serizawa, practitioner of the Shindō-Munen style. A clash of styles is about to unfold between these two unparalleled swordsmen, the first deadly duel in a series of others that will ultimately spell the end of the samurai. **Drawing on documents and testimonies from the Meiji period, Tadataka Hosokawa and Tatsuya Yamamura deliver a deeply immersive historical narrative that reflects the bloody reality of samurai clashes: through the purges and assassinations that marked the end of their era, the swordsmen nonetheless respected the honor and feats of arms of their adversaries.**
I'm Nadagi Yu, a 27-year-old office worker in my late twenties. Married, no children. One day, when I returned home to retrieve something I forgot, I caught my husband, who was supposed to be absent from work due to poor health, cheating on me. And the other woman was a soft-spoken, carnivorous girl from my company. They both started blaming me, telling me to get out of the apartment I was paying rent for, and doing whatever they wanted... Just when I was getting fed up, I was summoned to another world, complete with this whole mess. According to an old man in the other world, my husband is a "hero ()," the woman he's cheating with is a "saint," and I'm apparently a "housewife." Since it seems "housewife" isn't the name of the game, I'll just do as I please. And so begins the other-world life of a cat-loving, baby-faced, sharp-tongued "housewife." Don't underestimate me just because I'm a "housewife"...! (Source: Kadokawa, translated)
Thousands of years before the events of Skies of Arcadia, six civilizations coexisted on floating continents in the titular skies of Arcadia, a world with no apparent surface that is orbited by six moons of different colors. The civilizations, one of which existed for each moon, developed technologically to the point where each created a Gigas, a colossal living weapon of mass destruction, as well as the Moon Crystals that could be used to control them. Using the Gigas, the civilizations warred with one another, which caused enormous environmental harm and threatened the extinction of all six civilizations. The most advanced of the civilizations, the Silver Civilization, used their Gigas to summon the Rains of Destruction, which pulled meteors from the orbiting moons and crashed them down onto the planet's surface. The catastrophic destruction stopped the rampage of the Gigas, as well as nearly destroying the other five civilizations, thus ending the war. A seal was placed on the Silver Gigas to prevent the Rains from being used again, and the Moon Crystals were hidden away. In present time, the militant and tyrannical Valuan Empire, led by Empress Teodora, seeks the Moon Crystals in order to awaken the Gigas and take over the world. Valua's will is enforced through the Valuan Armada, a fleet of iron-clad warships led by senior admiral Galcian and vice admiral Ramirez under the authority of the Empress. They are primarily opposed by the Blue Rogues, a faction of Air Pirates who make it a point to harass the Armada as much as possible. Fina, a young girl from the Silver Civilization, is sent to find the Moon Crystals before the Valuans and bring them to a safe place.
