-During spring 2020 Outland Forlag announced a manga contest, and asked for entries by manga interested draws. It had a surprisingly huge attendance, and they received entries from all over Norway. The jury had a difficult time finding the best ones, but ultimately settled for 6 winners which was released in Rakkan vol. 1 in November 2020. Here we can see inspiration from multiple big Japanese manga creations, such as Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia. As well as Norwegian cultural references which makes them something quite unique. In this volume we meet among others a snake with Trønder dialect, supernatural creatures, and an Outland store that comes to life after closing times. Read the first volume for free here.
