Otona no Iroha began guest serialization in the February 2012 issue of Manga Home under the title Ayano-san no Osumitsuki (あやのさんのお墨つき). The earlier work was published three times before taking up the new title in the May issue of the magazine.

Nishimi Kaoru has moved from city to city and school to school because of his father’s job. So the first day at his new school was just routine for him.
