All humans are ranked according to their status, and the main character, Takashi Nakamura, who only has the lowest-ranked abilities, is ridiculed, but spends his hard days hiding in dungeons as a burden carrier for the strong. However, Takashi's fate begins to change when he encounters the B-rank monster Argos in the dungeon.
