This is the tale of two friends who are both studying to get into an elite space program. When only one succeeds, the one who fails kills the other to take his place in the program. Remake of Tezuka's 1948 one shot ''The Mysterious Underground Man'' The parents of Isami Nishitani were killed aboard world's first stratospheric rocket ship Luna Park I when the ship exploded. Isami's father was a chemistry professor who left behind a ear of a rabbit which would make the brains of a human work considerably faster. Prof. Frankenstein succeeds in the experiment which transforms the the ear into a human being. Isami, intent on revenging his parents, volunteers as test pilot for earth-penetrating train Luna Park III invented by the designer Sullivan along several other people , including his pet rabbit who was transformed into a human being.
Set in Hokkaido in the early Meiji era, the protagonist is a man who is wild and has a sword arm. He was originally an indigenous person, but he respected and interacted with Ainu Aborigines. Tezuka Osamu the best is a collection of stories written and illustrated by Osamu Tezuka. The majority of these stories were published in the 1970s, particularly through the magazines Weekly Shounen Jump and Weekly Shounen Sunday, although the 1950s and 1980s are also represented.
"Angel Gunfighter" is a thrilling Western Manga filled with love stories and gunfights. The setting for the story is a small town in the American Wild West. In a small town of the border region between New Mexico and Arizona, a rogue cop called Ham Egg is conspiring with the mayor to dominate the town. But Ham Egg has an obstacle to his plot. It is "Monster," an Indian youngster. Monster stands up to save the town from corruption and bring it back to normal, fighting against the Ham Egg group together with a boy named Jim and a female gun expert, Anna. This is a grand-scale hero action adventure in which a boy given an iron body via the secret weapon "Big X," possessed by the Nazis, battles against evil. Invited to Germany during World War II, Dr. Asagumo is asked by Hitler to collaborate with him on the research of the new weapon Big X. Concerned about the possible affects of the completion of Big X, Dr. Asagumo intentionally delays the progress of the research, conspiring with his co-researcher Dr. Engel. Immediately before Germany is defeated, Dr. Asagumo implants a card inscribed with the secret of Big X in his son, Shigeru, and is then shot to death by the German army. Twenty years later, the card is discovered in the body of Shigeru, who was then living in Tokyo. Then, an organization claiming alliance with the Nazis appears, steals the card, and completes the Big X project. Dr. Engel's grandson has joined the Nazi Alliance. The completed Big X is then revealed to be a drug that can expand the human body without limitation.
