Title Type Designations

Main Three Titles

  • Title (English) — The licensed title in English, leave out edition names, and if volume and chapter serialization happen to have different names, use the volume name.
  • Title (Native) — The official cover title of a series in the native language of the series, if volume and chapter serialization happen to have different names, use the volume name.
  • Title (Romanized) — If the native title is CJK this will have the MangaBaka romanization of said title.

Additional Titles

Alternative — Any official(-ish) title but not directly being the cover title. e.g. English(-ish) text on CJK covers, alternative romanizations of loanwords (e.g. Gyaru vs Gal), and official/community recognized shortened titles.

  • DanMachi (Language; Japanese (Romanized), with note; Short title)
  • MHA (Language; English, with note; Short title)
  • Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi (Language; Japanese (Romanized), with note; Alt. ギャル)
  • Romancing Apoptosis Doll: Sartain in Love (Language; English, with note; On native covers)
  • Native — Used for when a series has different (official) titles, like chapter serialization title vs volume serizalization title. Also for Japanese titles without the embedded furigana and/or furiganan romanization.

  • かわいそうな妹ちゃん (Language; Japanese) — Chapter serialization title of お兄ちゃんの恋人になりたい妹の話
  • Kawaisou na Imouto-chan (Language; Japanese (Romanized) — Chapter serialization title of Onii-chan no Koibito ni Naritai Imouto no Hanashi
  • 僕と君が夫婦になるまで (Language; Japanese, with note; Without furigana) — Official native title is with furigana embedded; 僕と君〈ギャル〉が夫婦になるまで
  • Boku to Kimi ga Fuufu ni Naru made (Language; Japanese (Romanized), with note; Without furigana) Native romanized title is with furigana reading; Boku to Gyaru ga Fuufu ni Naru made
  • Official — Any other official licensed title, be it editions or other language licensed titles.

  • 이마이즈미네 집은 아무래도 갸루의 아지트가 된 모양이다 (Language; Korean)
  • La Petite Faiseuse de Livres (Language; French)
  • Der Palast der Assassinen (Language; German)
  • Unofficial — Any other unofficial titles or names given to the series go here.
